T2'007 Wins French Nationals 2nd Rnd

The second round of the French National Championship was held in Rumilly in the south-east part of the country; this was the first important asphalt race of the year for French drivers. The fantastic indoor asphalt track was very technical and had very good grip. All the XRAY drivers discussed things together, and therefore almost all used the same setup.

In OpenB (sport class), V. Cavard (XRAY) had the pole position until local driver O. Beining took it away in the last qualification heat.

In OpenA (master class), C. N'Diaye was the fastest driver and took the pole position.

He was followed by J. Delalondre and L. Jasmin. Five XRAY T2'007 cars made it into the A-Main.

In OpenB, O. Beining won the first two finals and took the overall victory. Despite his bad luck during the race, V. Cavard took 3rd place.

In OpenA, C. N'Diaye won the first final after passing J. Delalondre.

The second final was taken by A. Tréhout after a great race behind J. Delalondre who made a small (but enough) mistake in the last lap. And as C. N'Diaye won the last final, he took the overall victory. Congratulations Cyril!
